Software from Creative Cloud is downloaded from the Internet, installed directly
on a local computer and used as long as the subscription remains valid. Online updates and multiple languages are included in the CC subscription.
Following the announcement that Adobe will move away from perpetual licenses, all new Creative Suite products are now only available through subscriptions. The products are downloaded from the cloud and installed locally on devices and connect to the internet to validate the license. Additional cloud features are delivered with these products such as the capability to store files, up to a specific limit in the cloud, or file sharing and collaboration.
